On Saturday 19th November, we are doing a pub-crawl in various pubs in Radcliffe to help raise awareness for International Men’s Day. With increased global suicide rates in men and proportionately lower life expectancy rates than women, this year’s theme for International Men’s Day is ‘Stop Male Suicide’.
At Samaritans we encourage men and women to #talktous about what is bothering them and we offer a completely unique, confidential listening service where it is safe for someone to talk about their problems without judgement. On our pub crawl we will be engaging with local pub-goers and talking about our service in a friendly and relaxed way, as well as putting up posters and giving out beer mats.
Here is the schedule for our pub-crawl: – 16:45 p.m. Old Cross Inn, Eton Hill Road, Radcliffe – 17:15 p.m. Staff of Life, 22 Cross Lane, Radcliffe – 17:45 p.m. Morning Star, 25 Thomas Street, Radclffe – 18:15 p.m. Royal Oak, Water Street, Radcliffe Please come along and speak to us, it would be great to see you!
