Paul Catterson – Club Doctor, NUFC
Paul looks after the health and well being of all First Team players at Newcastle United FC. Historically, Club Doctors look after the physical injuries of footballers but there is now more emphasis on the players mental health. In his talk Dr Catterson will outline how NUFC currently do this and how they plan to develop this in the future.
Jamie Harley – Head of Sports Science, NUFC
Sadly Jamie has lost two friends to suicide in the past two years. As part of his talk Jamie will be sharing his own personal journey of increasing his awareness around mental health, his physical and emotional resilience and also his fitness challenges and charity work to help others in crisis.

Andrew Cave tried to take his own life at 28. But after opening up to friends and family about his mental health, Andrew is encouraging others to find support through the NHS and Newcastle United Foundation’s Be A Game Changer campaign.
