DESCRIPTION:A FREE community event with activities\, refreshments and information about men’s health and cancer awareness.\n\n\n\nJoin us at Harehills Lane Church for a special International Men’s Day edition of our Small Steps\, Better Health community events. \nThis is a FREE\, friendly and informal event bringing people together to talk about men’s health and wellbeing\, with activities\, workshops and refreshments throughout the afternoon. \nWe’ll be using International Men’s Day as an opportunity to encourage more conversations about men’s health\, cancer awareness and early diagnosis\, including recognising changes\, knowing when to seek advice and not putting off getting something checked. \nCancer won’t be the only focus though. We’ll be looking at men’s health and wellbeing more widely and bringing together local organisations that can provide information\, support and opportunities. \nThere’ll be plenty to see and do\, including: \n\nFree activities and workshops\nMen’s health and wellbeing information\nStalls from local organisations\nCancer awareness and early diagnosis information\nFree refreshments\nOpportunities to chat\, ask questions and find out about local support\n\nYou don’t need any previous knowledge and there’s no pressure to take part in everything. You’re welcome to come along\, have a look around and get involved in whatever interests you. \nEveryone is welcome and the event is completely FREE to attend. \nCome along\, get involved and take a small step towards better health.
