Schools, Colleges and Universities to mark International Men’s Day
A number of schools and colleges have been in touch over the past two months stating they are marking International Men’s Day based on:
- giving boys and girls the chance to celebrate the contribution men and boys make
- for boys to feel freer and more comfortable to seek help and for others to help them seek that help
- to make boys more confident about themselves and their futures
All good stuff and to be commended.
Those schools, colleges and universities that have indicated they are taking part are:

- Tendring Technology College, Frinton-on-sea, Essex
- New College, Swindon
- Leeds Beckett University
- York St. John University
- Winchester Science Centre
- University of York
