What’s so funny about discussing men’s issues in Parliament on International Men’s Day? We respond to a MP’s ridicule

International Men’s Day UK Coordinator, Glen Poole wrote in Telegraph Men in response to Jess Phillips MP who sniggered when Philip Davies MP called for a Parliamentary Debate on International  Men’s Day.

He rightly questions what is so funny about wanting to discuss male suicide, shorter life expectancy, educational under-achievement, men’s cancer, homelessness and whole host of other issues.  All about “Making a Difference to Men and Boys” – the 2015 International Men’s Day theme.

What’s more – 97% of over 3,000 people agreed with Philip Davies.

Why not ask your MP to support the debate as well?

There will be regular updates in the coming weeks on this subject.
