This year’s Global theme – “Supporting Men and Boys” – invites an honest look at where boys fall behind at school, where young men disengage, and where too many men face isolation and mental ill-health.

It also shines a light on the mentors, dads, teachers, coaches, employers and community programmes creating safe, positive spaces for boys to thrive and for men to ask for help without judgement.

The day is a chance to recognise practical, local action—celebrating role models, strengthening father-inclusive practice, and backing initiatives that build connection, skills and confidence. It encourages communities to elevate what’s already working and to champion a culture that supports men and boys with empathy, accountability and respect.
