After all, a smooth sea never made a skilled sailor! Through his own life journey he’ll share how it was his lowest moments that were the most pivotal, and how without them, he’d have missed his real calling.

Darren Edwards – Achieving the Impossible – Five Injured Veterans Tackle ‘World First’ Expedition
On the 19th June 2021, a team of five injured/wounded military veterans took on the epic ‘world first’ challenge of becoming the first team to kayak from Land’s End to John O’ Groats – a journey of over 1,400 kilometres across some of Europe’s most challenging coastal waters. Many referred to the challenge as an impossible undertaking for a team of novice sea kayakers, let alone for a team with several disabilities and injuries. Would they achieve an incredible world first?
